Sort By Name

Hello,

I have several movies and when i try to sort by name ascending, seem the result is mixed. You can see in the picture, the movie like The 5th wave, The Amazing Spiderman showing in the top.

Actually it's not mixed - it only ignores the article. But I can't say, if Jellyfin has an option to prevent that.

What mean of ignoring the article? Sort by name its mean sort by title right? And that what i want.

Ignoring the title means, that jellyfin sorts alphabetically by omitting the article that stands at the beginning of a title like "the" and "a". The idea is, not to have a bunch of titles one after the other all beginning with the same "the".

Articles like “The,” “A,” or “An” are ignored in the sorting process. Items are sorted first numerically and then alphabetically:

• 5th Wave (ignoring "The")
  
• After Live
  
• Aged
  
• Amazing Spider-Man (ignoring "The")
