Srong metadata

Running Jellyfin 10.10.2 and have a TV show named "Deroute (200" but when i identify it with the correct tv show, Jellyfin shows a TV show named "The deroute (2016 - 2019)"

Even when i used the imdb ID for series and it does identify only that, it will use metadata for "The deroute (2016 - 2019)"

TMDB does not appear to have the 2008 show at all. But TVDB does. If TMDB is your primary metadata provider, adjust your library settings so that TVDB is the primary and then try again.

Thanks for you reply, unfortunately it did not help.. It just dont allow me to choose the right TV show..

Are you still using the IMDB ID? Try using the TVDB ID, 250327.

Jellyfin does not use IMDB ID. I believe Jellyfin relies on TMDB having a IMDB-to-TMDB mapping. Which isn't possible if TMDB doesn't have the show altogether.

I have two fields to add it, either in the IMDB field or tmdb field in meta manager, should i add it to one of those?

Oh. I forgot that TVDB requires you install a separate plugin. Go to the plugin catalog and install the TVDB plugin, restart Jellyfin, then go to your library settings and ensure TVDB is enabled and "Missing Episode Fetcher" is DISABLED.
