Struggle to implement default Display, Playback, Subtitles options

Hi everyone! I'm trying to achieve the funcionality where users after login in to their clients would have default applied Display & Playback & Subtitles options. Like turned on options for Backdrops, Details Banner and Theme songs or the default language of subtitles.

What's interesting, the default options per user in User edit screen has no effect for Display options anywhere, including the browser. The playback and subtitles options seems to work for most of the options (weirdly, some options are also not applied, but they are not too important for me).



For make display options to work, I have installed the plugin Jellyfin Tweaks which seems to do the job and after toggling 3 options (photo 1) it made the default options for Display to work on browsers. I can confirm that also by checking the local storage values which are now generated correctly (photo 2). Sadly, these options are not working for TV apps, at least for Tizen and webOS.





Now after onboarding each family member I need them to do it all manualy. Maybe there is a way how to fix this or maybe I'm doing it all wrong?

There are server side settings that are globally applied, there are per user settings that are stored on the server and applied for that user on every device, and then there are per DEVICE settings that are stored on that device and no where else.

The settings you're wanting to set are per device settings and do not get applied on other devices. AFAIK, there is no way to change the default without a code change in Jellyfin.
