I can only assume the copper electrical lines could not handle the amount of data. I switched my server to wireless and everything works just fine. I would still like to have used a wired connection but whatever. It works and my wife is happy so that's all that matters right. Thanks to all who worked with me on this problem.
Many years ago I tried Powerline, didn't work well. I now use Moca adapters (Multi Media over Coax) with existing TV coax, works very well, still using them to get to two rooms I can't get Ethernet to. Co-exists with TV signals. This is what your going to need.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D5QFD2Q1 Coax splitter if you have TV or DVR hooked in that room also. If the cable junction box outside has a mulit port splitter where the coax branches off the go to differnet rooms, that one might have to be replaced with a splitter that supports up to 2300MHz.

I can't remember, I think you can place up to six of these adapters on one coax loop.
