I am trying to get some best practices for the Subtitle Extract plugin. I have a pretty large library and would often run into issues with embedded graphical subs, so I just decided to use Subtitle Extract. That has helped a ton, but the ...Server/data/subtitles directory is eating up a ton of HDD space on my server. The server is on a 500GB drive and 240GB of that drive space is taken by the /subtitles directory.

The only ones I really have a problem with are graphical subs in the UHD/4K movies. Transcoding runs fast enough on anything HD to not really care.

Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions for helping shrink /subtitles? I saw under Advanced Mode it said "Enable advanced codec selection for fine-grained control". I was really hoping that it meant I could specify video codecs to extract from, then I could select only UHD codecs for extract. That is not what the Advanced Mode does.

Selecting the option to save subtitles next to media files doesn't seem to apply to extract, just download. I have about 75GB of free space left on the server. I figure I'll start worrying when it hits 20GB, at that point, I might end up just nuking the directory. Till then, it would be good to get some feedback from yall.
