I know last time, it was not possible to get skip intro into Swiftfin. I am just curious if that is something that will be possible this time around, and if so, if it's being worked on?

No pressure or anything, I know you probably have a lot you want to do or are working on, I am just purely curious of it's status

    Sounds like no.

But we have a similar functionality built into Jellyfin 10.10. But only if your chapters are named appropriately.

That is what I mean by the "this time around"

The new intro skipper plugin just edits chapters and names them correctly, and built in media segments handles the rest, at least that's how I understand it as a not very technical person. So I thought maybe they would role out the new functionality to swiftfin. It's one of 2 things I kinda need before switching. Considering buying a Nvidia Shield just to get it, but that's not cheap.

What kind of apple device are you using? An Apple TV? Is it still running Swiftfin 1.0.1?

I don't see any PRs regarding adding support for media segments. Swiftfin is going through a huge refactor, so it may be while before new features are added while they work on getting "standard" functionality in working order.

Good to know, thanks for the info. I guess I have to choose between buying new hardware and sticking with Plex, neither of which I love the options of.

Thank though, I appreciate the help!
