Hardware transcoding on Synology DS423+ (920+) since 10.8.12 not working anymore.
I read someware on this forum due to new kernal.
Wil this be solved in a new version or am i stuck at version 10.8.11?

My understanding is that TONE MAPPING is broken on Synology NASes running Jellyfin 10.8.12 and later. This is due to Intel dropping OpenCL support for kernel 4.4.x. The devs are working on what options they have to re-enable tone mapping.

Plain SDR transcoding should still work. Is this not the case for you?

This is indeed working when VPP is turned off.
Hope there is a solution soon, but I can now use it on latest version. (for most of the video's)
    thanks
