    Hi there!

My name is Sean, I'm relatively new to Jellyfin and have been running it on a Win11 machine for approx 6 months - i7/32GB/2080ti/14TB with a Pi4 running Caddy and Lets Encrypt as reverse proxy. Have just cobbled together some old hardware and installed Debian, so looking forward to experimenting with Docker and moving JF/storage off my main rig.

    Long time user, first-time poster...

I don't use this name on Reddit, I try and change names on every service, so if you know somebody by this name on Reddit, well I apologize I'm not them.

I run JF on an RPi400 set to boot from an SSD with OpenMediaVault 6. Jellyfin is run through a portainer container with the linuxserver build.

As a side note, I hope eventually the subreddit will be put into unofficial status as I'd hate to see some unscrupulous person takeover and remove all that info.

    Howdy folks,

I'm Ozymandyaz from Toronto and a JF fan from the early days and I've technically even got a PR merged into JellyCon.

I run JF in Docker on a dedicated Arch Linux server with mostly Android TV clients on Fire Sticks as well as a Pi400 running Kodi and JellyCon. I also have a SWAG reverse Proxy and a dedicated JF/Finamp instance for fun...

My setup is pretty vanilla and very stable, but I've also done a lot of oddball configs so I enjoy reading the troubleshooting forums and trying to help others in the community.

    Hi everyone! wtfjacks here.
Nice to see a dedicated forum for jellyfin. Hope it grows and prospers.
I run jellyfin on my Linux Mint pc as well as an old Zotac 'book' pc.
Linux pc is home built. Specs are as follows:
Ryzen 7 5800x, Asus X570 Pro MB, GTX 1660 and 64 GB G.Skill Ripjaws Ram.
    More then enough for jellyfin.

Just wanted to say thank you, it's nice to have a single place for information related to Jellyfin. Especially as it's an actual forum that can be searched and not yetanotherdiscordserver. Keep up the great work!

Hey I'm Marieah - a crazed Aussie Jellyfin Fangirl who was once quite techie but lost the plot. I love to lurk in places where I read stuff I barely comprehend in the vain hope that some of it will eventually rub off   Laughing

    Hi!
    Coffeeknight here.
Long time user of Plex, and i've been testing Jellyfin on and off over the past few years.
But Jellyfin this year has really blown me away!

Playback is great, and it's so much more stable than plex. It's convinced me to move completely over to Jellyfin now.
And i love that I can make my own changes to Jellyfin if i need to.
The future of Jellyfin looks promising!

Using Jellyfin with traefik and docker-compose on Ubuntu 20.04 with a few TB in storage (well.... maybe more than a few TB). Mostly using it for movies and TV, with Intel Quick Sync for hardware transcodes.

Hi Everyone, I'm a brand new Jellyfin user trying to move over from Plex. Currently I have the server running on my PC (which will be replaced soon) and also my Synology NAS device although I'm having some issues there which I'll post about in the appropriate forum. I'll be using Jellyfin for TV Shows primarily.

Hi. I'm CBers, a long time user of Emby, but now looking at how JF has progressed since I last tested it a few years ago.

It seems to have come on leaps and bounds.

Keep up the good work, as it's always good to have an alternative.

Nice new forums by the way 👍
Current Emby user, testing out the JellyFin ecosystem.
