Hi All
I'm new to Jellyfin - I just installed it this week so I'm still sort of stumbling around with it but its a great looking bit of software.
 I have the server installed on a 7 year old Dell laptop with music library on an external hard drive and the iOS app on my iPad to control playback. I'm streaming to a Wiim Pro and plan on using this setup to stream music primarily.

Hello there! I am just getting into working with JellyFin because I am tired of the subscription models and I have a lot of DVDs so... time to get to work.

However, I want to also get into development work for a plugin idea that I have so I'll be floating around from here on out. We'll see how this goes as I get acclimatized to the structure of the app and plugins.

I have a base plugin loaded, now I just have to figure out how to interface with specific aspects of the client... should be fun

I was on a golang project for a year or so. I hated the language. Every other line, err != nil. It made clean code pretty much impossible.

I'm a composer for picture and re-recording mixer, mainly working on documentaries and games.

Currently moving over to Jellyfin as I wasn't very impressed with the idea of Plex turning their offering into a social media platform. It's increasingly cloud-centric, and I've precious little interest in any of the cruft they're adding to PMS, especially when I'm using a low-power, fanless Intel CPU.

My smart tv is a Hisense 65Q8 driven by VIDAA 4.0.
I have a heap of old home videos that I want to watch on my 65" tv.
I want to swap from Plex to Jellyfin, but can't until there is a Jellyfin client for my tv.

Is there anything in the pipeline?
