Hi, i'm Antoine, i use Jellyfin for movies and tv shows and as far as the software is concerned (and i've gone though some before accidentally discovering the version 10.0.
, i've had a rocky start followed by a long love/hate relationship with the software but i really like the project, don't want to use something else.
As far as forums go, i've never participated in one because maybe i felt i had nothing to contribute. Only today it changed and i don't even know in which section of the forum i should write this so i'd be grateful for any pointer.
Several times i've encountered a problem with the collection library slowing down and even disappearing altogether, I read it's quite common. Today at least i succeded in restoring the backup of the complete jellyfin server on an a new computer, a clone including viewed status, started video, complete collections with indexed movies and show, everything.
I work with windows, only tested those script (1 backup, 1 restore) with versions 10.11.11 and 12.0.0 r6 (i run it as a service) i would like to share, the devising was mine but the production is AI, if it can help others I must say i'm a little excited to maybe be able to contribute, also maybe there is a way to do better but i'm just a user not a coder of else.
So if someone could tell me if there is an interest and if so where i can safely post those script for other to have a look.
