My jellyfin is deployed in a docker on my NAS device. Using jellyfin for viewing on my TV.
When I play certain videos, I find that the playback speed adjustment doesn't work. No matter what I set the playback speed to, it still plays at 1.00x speed.
I did some digging and found that the audio encoding information for these videos is usually EAC3.

In the web version of jellyfin, it is an option to copy the streaming link of the corresponding video.
If I use the streaming link and play it in the VLC player on my TV, then the playback speed of the video can be adjusted properly.
My TV hardware supports adjusting the playback speed, and most videos work fine adjusting the playback speed when played using jellyfin. These videos usually use aac audio instead of EAC3.
If the video uses EAC3 audio, I have problems adjusting the playback speed within jellyfin.

Is it that jellyfin has incomplete support for videos using EAC3? Or is there some setting I should adjust in the backend of jellyfin?

    ------------
Also, I'd like to see jellyfin come out with a handy feature that makes it easy to pull up an installed 3rd party player (e.g. VLC) for playback on the TV client.
This would reduce the hassle of copying and pasting streaming links to 3rd party players.

Is it direct playing EAC3 or transcoding?

How do I check and confirm that?

It would be contained in your logs. If you share them via pastebin we can look over them. Play the file you are having issues with before sharing.
