    Hey All!
I just got American Chopper DVDs and am trying top get them into Jellyfin. I have them in there, but I get the wrong episodes.

I see that theTVDB.com has a listing for the 'aired episode order' and 'DVD episode order'. Is there any way to tell jellyfin to use the DVD eposode order? If so it would be a lot easier than renaming all the files.

If anyone has any ideas on how to make this work, let me know.

    Thanks!

In the series edit, the metadata, and from there, you can change the display order.

Actually at this point it looks like it's pulling from the themoviedb and they have no DVD order option. Is there a way to force it to check theTVDB instead? I tried using theTVDB ID number, but that just identified it, didn't force it to pull the right metadata from there.

I tried searching on it with no luck, and my AI said to go to dashboard - metadata - metadata providers, but that's not even there.

    Thanks again!

What you set as the main provider of metadata for both section of the library that was setup is what provides the data and images. Unless there is an issue that blocks access to TheTVDB, doesn't have the series, or perhaps it can't match it based on a name or something. You should go to the library and make sure "TheTVDB" is set as the main one.

If that still gives you issues. You could use something like MediaElch or the TinyMediaManager to parse the data for the correct order. You will just need to make sure the naming of the files is within the correct standard so it can find it. You can use something like FileBot for that if needed. Then the metadata will be within the media folder and Jellyfin can read the local metadata. Which should then be displayed correctly after a library scan.

The display order list in Jellyfin is not dynamically populated. It is a static list of "generic" display orders.

If you want TVDB to be your primary provider, you need to go into the library configuration and move TVDB to the top of the priority list for each category.

Thanks to you both! I'd never even seen that page before. Got it set and the problem is corrected.
