    Hi all, I'm trying to move from Plex to Jellyfin and I can't seem to figure out what's going wrong in deploying the app. I'm following this method: https://github.com/jeppevinkel/jellyfin-tizen-builds
    I have set the TV in developer mode;
    I installed Tizen Studio with CLI
    Both the TV and my computer where the server is installed are on the same wireless network (5Ghz). I'm on Windows 11, Jellyfin version 10.8.13 .
    I can't even get to the point of installing the app itself, the TV won't connect to the Tizen Device Manager. IP os correct, port is default. I've tried rebooting the TV, the router and my computer. I don't know what do at this point, any help is appreciated.
    Here's the error message I get:

    Why does this happen? What am I doing wrong?

    Make sure that your NIC is set to private and that the ports/apps are allowed in the private firewall settings.

    The network was in fact set to public for some reason (it's my home wifi) but I changed it to private. Still the same issue. Added a rule allowing both Device Manager and the default port in Windows Firewall, still the same issue.

    This is driving me crazy! I feel like this should be easy D:

    Do you have any more ideas of what's going wrong here?

    I'm not sure what you're talking about. This is the TV I use, of course I already have a samsung acount and my TV is logged in. It was logged in before I even started the tutorial I linked, which you relinked here.

    last time i did this was a completely different process on a completely different platform and it never would connect until i put the ip of the machine trying to connect to the tv into the developer box on the tv

    so if you want to try that, open the app store on the tv again then where you enabled developer mode and enter your windows pc's ip there

    as far as this "should be easy", it's really not and it's not just you

    Ok, so I think the problem was that I was using a separate AP that for the TV that I had configured in the router, and it had 'client isolation' checked. I didn't bother to check with the same network with 'client isolation' turned off, but I switched to the main access point and evrything worked now.
