    Hello,

I am just now getting into my library and going through making sure its as detailed and with recommended ways for organizing and naming the media, but when I use filebot, its default method is different for TV shows.

    Filebot example

    e.g. TV Shows/Alias (2001) [tmdbid-2046]/Season 01/Alias (2001) - S01E01 - Truth Be Told

But the Jellyfin Documentation has it differently.

    https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/shows

    Shows
    ├── Series (2010)
    │  ├── Season 00
    │  │  ├── Some Special.mkv
    │  │  ├── Episode S00E01.mkv
    │  │  └── Episode S00E02.mkv

Does it really matter, or which is better?

    Thank you
    Bill

My setup matches the first example and everything works just fine. Certain things need to be present, others don't and are extraneous to identification. My naming scheme has never let me down and has actually helped me out multiple times over the past few years, extraneous info in particular.

    Hello,

Thanks for the reply, I am noticing that it really doesn't matter, to a point. It still reads/plays them.

Organization + SXXEYY in the name matters. Show name not being a different show probably matters a bit too. The rest? Not so much.
