TVDB Alternate Order

Hi guys,

im wondering about TVDB's alternate order field. Especially for Metadata for spongebob squarepants. I have the episodes in joined order according to https://thetvdb.com/series/spongebob-squ...ts#seasons and it says it can be accessed via the API with alternate order. But the field is not available for this, how can i find a workaround for this situation?

Looks like this is an open issue on the TVDB Plugin git.

Perhaps post on that issue stating you are still interested? At some point, they were waiting for "API V4"?

I've seen on another issue them saying it'll basically require a rewrite of the whole plugin so I wouldn't hold my breath for it happening any time soon. The best workaround for it (and it quite bothersome) is writing the nfo files yourself and locking the metadata so you won't have to do it every time you scan your library.
