tvOS Audio delay HomePod minis

I have a 2022 Apple TV with paired HomePod minis. I am using th Swiftfin app, and I have an audio delay issue with the Swiftfin app. I’ve narrowed it down to using the HomePod minis, as if I just use my tv audio there is no audio delay. I have tried turning on the direct play experimental option and I still have an audio delay. It works fine in the infuse app, but they don’t have live tv support. Any suggestions I could try?

It seemed to work fine before, but maybe it was because of the tvos update?

have an audio delay issue with the Swiftfin and can't even control the volume
