Hello, I'm having a problem with tray installed Jellyfin 10.8.13 on windows server 2022 Datacenter 21H2 64 bit.

One of the anime in my library called "The Wind Rises" is being misidentified as "Rising with the wind"

The folder is called "The wind Rises (2013)".

Using the manual identify option and entering "The wind rises" yields "Rising with the wind" as the only match.

Entering in the ID for AniDB [9514], Anilist [16662] and TMBD [149870] yields no result in Jellyfin.

The only correct identification in Jellyfin is from IMDb [tt2013293].

    ---

So far so good, but when I select the IMDb option to extract images and metadata from, nothing changes. So I manually delete the all the previous metadata and images, then manually selecting "The wind rises" from the IMDb ID and clicking refresh metadata results in "Rising with the wind" metada being applied (including images, description, actors, and IMDb ID being wrongly set to [tt17069404]). Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version of all plugins.

Any Idea on how to get it to identify properly?

You can try adding the TMDB ID in the folder name.

    "The Wind Risers (2013) [tmdbid-149870]"

After you change the name, REMOVE the folder from the library, rescan. Once the entry is gone, move it back into your library and rescan again.

I've had this happen a couple times where the wrong metadata is "sticky" and just won't go away.

Rnamed folder to "The Wind Risers (2013) [tmdbid-149870]"

At first there was no metadata but after a few days everything seemed to fixed itself and is identifying correctly.

    Thanks yall

Whoops. I just noticed my typo. "Risers" instead of "Rises". Glad it worked anyway.
