I've noticed a few times that if the server is left running (as it should be) that it easily goes up to 800+MBs of ram usage on my Mac Mini M4. This is without anyone watching anything on it. If I restart it, it will drop down to around 180MBs.
I just checked it and it was using 837.0MB with 32 threads
Dropped to 180.4MB with 28 threads after a restart.
My Plex server which is bigger and hasn't been restarted in well over a month is using 218.2MBs and 28 threads by comparison.
Just wondering if this is normal for Jellyfin.
It's not an issue for me necessarily. It's not causing any problems for me. I just figured I would bring it to your attention since you just redid the code and thought you might want to know to help optimize it.
I'm running the newest version of Jellyfin. V10.11.1 MacOS 15.4.1
