Video Codec Problem

Hi!

Trying to switch to Linux but running into problems with Jellyfin Server. 

I'm running Arch Linux Gnome and every time I reboot the system the codecs stop working. I tried several thing but it keeps breaking no matter what. 
There was the same problem running Fedora Workstation and latest SteamOS (on Steam Deck). I also tried to install VLC player but no luck. 

To keep videos playing again I had to delete VLC player as well as FFMPEG codecs "sudo pacman -R jellyfin-ffmpeg" and "sudo pacman -R gst-libav gst-plugins-good gst-plugins-bad gst-plugins-ugly ffmpeg". Reboot the system and reinstall the codecs "sudo pacman -S gst-libav gst-plugins-good gst-plugins-bad gst-plugins-ugly ffmpeg". 

But it still stops working after a reboot. Did anyone had the same issue?  
Google's Gemini is worthless when if it comes to trouble shooting and people say that it's a conflict between the video codecs. 

Jellyfin was running without issues on Win11 though.

Are you using straight up Arch or are you using something like Arkane Linux? To me, it sounds like the OS is immutable. Which would explain why everything is gone after reboot. Arch, itself, is not immutable. But some Arch based distros are. Arkane is based on Arch, uses Gnome, and is immutable. Leading me to believe you are using Arkane.

Is that the case?

its' Arch Linux with the latest updates. It's not a live USB like Mint and Fedora has where you can test the OS and see if all the hardware is working.
But like I said, there was the same issue with Fedora Workstation as well as Steam OS and Linux Mint Cinnamon I believe. All of the OSs were installed after confirming that the hardware works.

Can you be more specific about what isn't working with Jellyfin? Is it not running at all? Or it runs, but you can't play any videos?

And can you share more server logs via pastebin?
