Good afternoon -
I think a common feature in all streaming apps is for all users to quickly and easily see what they have recently watched and jump right back in where they left off. This is great for many reasons. If you switch clients (I.E. moving from room to room or from tv the phone etc.) If you fall asleep watching something. If you can't remember the name of that show you started a few days ago. etc. etc. The ability to jump right back in is awesome.
I am aware that an admin can look in the dashboard - but this is only for admins, and you cant resume from the dashboard. Even if users could access this and resume from it, it would be a very cumbersome method when compared to any other streaming service.
I found a fider post on this from 2020 but it looks like the responses mostly say to use the dashboard. It looks like its the 8th most wanted feature. https://features.jellyfin.org/posts/633/watched-history
Thanks to the whole community!
