Hopefully I am just missing something. Is there a way to Scan 1 library at a time, NOT Refresh. I run Emby also and it is very nice to just be able to Scan 1 library without needing to go into Dashboard and scanning all libraries. At times I change out the content of a movie or series for better versions or AV1 instead of x265. I delete the file from the hard drive, scan, and then put in the new files(s). This works very well but the need to scan all libraries in JF is crazy!
    Running 10.11.8 on Windows.

Click the three dots on the library in question, then at the bottom of the popup, click "Refresh metadata", then click "Refresh". There is three options on that page the default  option "Scan for new and updated files" works for new additions or changes. This works when ever I add a movie or delete a movie. For me, scan and refresh are the same...

    Thanks! I will try this!
NOTE: So after trying this I remembered why I do not like it. When you click refresh the last time it shows a message that says "refresh queued" and then gives NO indication if or when this will happen! Anybody know?

I believe its instantly though.  I used this method for my TV shows.
    i.e.

1 - Downloaded a new episode of the "The Boys"
2 - Move the file to its target folder /media/The Boys/
3 - On the jellyfin web UI, navigate to the "The Boys" show, click refresh inside.
4 - Refresh browser page, new episode instantly shows up as detected.

I have no issue when adding a new episode, it does it pretty much instantly without doing anything.
It is when replacing an ep or movie. I delete the file from the drive, scan to make sure JF no longer sees it, and then add the replacement file. In Emby, right from the Home page I can go to the 3 dots and select "scan library" and it scans that library only right then with a progress circle showing it happening. In JF, if I want it to happen right away, I need to go into Dashboard and "scan all libraries" which is frustrating to say the least.
