    Version: 10.8.11
    Operating System: Windows
    Architecture: X64

Still trying to troubleshoot this issue.
Direct playing media in Jellyfin windows app on the same device hosting the server still has this issue so connection speed is not the issue. Same issue occurs in chrome

HDD manages 80 to 100MBPS read even whilst writing so should not struggle with a 40MBPS stream. When viewing the drive in task manager Jellyfin only reads it at ~20MBPs. This is the only thing i can see that could cause an issue but i have no idea why?

    File plays fine in VLC

Logs attached, can provide anything else needed on request

    Honestly i'm completely stumped

Can you share your ffmpeg logs with us? They are in the same folder as the main jellyfin log.

You are CPU transcoding. The transcode is happening fast enough, but I'm wondering if your server is just bogged down with the transcode to be able to serve it to the client without buffering. Also, the output of the transcode is 1440P.

Do you have a GPU or iGPU for hardware accelerated transcoding?
