Hi, i'm a web developer but not a mobile or TV developer.
I own an LG G3 and tried the Jellyfin WebOS client but wasn't satisfied so i bought an NVIDIA Shield Pro 2019.
The Jellyfin Android TV app is better in some regards but since it seems to be a native client and not a jellyfin-web wrapper it also has some downsides (e.g. very poor subtitle support and unconventional seek forward/rewind).
Since there don't seem to be any appropriate web browsers for the Shield or Android TV in general, is it true that jellyfin-web can't really be used on Android TV?
And what is the reason why one Android version can't simply be compiled for both WebOS and Android TV?
While i don't have any Samsung (Tizen) TV, any infos on that could also be useful for others.
Thanks for all replies.
