Will Chromecast work on JF?

Has anyone had success getting JF to cast to Chromecast? I'm on JF v10.9.9 and am not having any luck with casting. It connects but will not display video on the TV.

I will test when I get home. But all of my Chromecasts are the Google TV variety, so I'm not sure it is a true like for like test even if I use the casting function.

I have, but it's some months ago, i switched it out with a coputer to be able to play videos without the content being transcoded.
It's Chromecast Ultra 4k i belive, can you cast from one JF client to another?

I installed the JF app on my Android phone and I can cast using the phone app. But not without the phone app.

Worked fine from both my Pixel 6a and my laptop's browser. Again, they're CCwGTV 4Ks so not sure if it is a true apples-to-apples comparison.
