I have done a basic search but not found anything and apologise if this topic has come up previously! Will a mini player be available on the Windows client software in the future? i.e. Selection of a different GUI: Full screen, basic or mini as well as a taskbar player whilst playing audio in the background?

AFAIK, there is no plan for this. There is Finamp, which has a bit of a wonky desktop client. Essentially the mobile app UI that runs on Windows or Linux.
Feishin is the desktop app I use, however it does not have a mini player that I'm aware of. I'd also love to have a Winamp like app that is Jellyfin compatible.

https://github.com/mikeypdev/wimpyamp claims Jellyfin compatibility is in the roadmap: > Q: How about support for Plex or Jellyfin playback? A: Not yet, but I plan to add it. If you add it before me, send a PR!
