I too am experiencing this issue with Jellyfin for android TV 0.18.8 (installed from Google play store) running on a rocktek G2 tv box... none of about 10 albums which are sampled at 48KHz will play, they just never start and remain at zero timestamp (however when I view the serverside activity in the jellyfin dashboard, it shows this client "playing" the song as normal) (direct play) but on the client side, nothing is happening... My behaviour and log files look exactly like what Slum_Shpongle describes I can get the 48Khz file to play normally: 1. on other jellyfin clients/instances on my phone or computer... 2. A different jellyfin client such as phyn for androidtv on the rocktec g2 box 3. The jellyfin for androidtv client on the rocktec g2 box IF I resample the file to 44.1KHz. So it appears to be some issue with the jellyfin for androidtv and 48KHz sampling rate RE: Music library playback issues - TheDreadPirate - 2025-04-20 What settings are you using for audio output? Do you have night mode enabled? Are you using ffmpeg decoding on Android TV? Are you using ffmpeg decoding on Android TV? I mostly use the default settings for audio output... but I have downmix to stereo enabled... I have tried toggling this off and on...makes no difference. I do not have night mode enabled I have tried toggling "prefer FFmpeg for audio playback" on and off..also no difference |
