RE: windows 10 - elrod jenkins - 2023-12-26 ok thanks, https://pastebin.com/as7XxYee RE: windows 10 - TheDreadPirate - 2023-12-26 Can you also share the main jellyfin log? "log_20231225.log" for example. What you shared is a ffmpeg log. Would also be worth sifting through Windows Event Viewer. RE: windows 10 - elrod jenkins - 2023-12-27 https://pastebin.com/mtdABu7G RE: windows 10 - TheDreadPirate - 2023-12-27 Whatever is going on is either not caused by Jellyfin or not logged. Can you look through the Windows event viewer around the times you restart jellyfin? RE: windows 10 - elrod jenkins - 2023-12-30 So first of all, thanks for trying to help, I swapped out for a brand new mini pc with windows 11, same problem! I'm guessing it has to do with the Verizon 5g gateway../router, what really bugs me is Plex does not have this issue, i also have T mobile 5g cellular, but of course the gateway/router for that is locked down... I'd like to ditch Verizon, but if I do that, no server.. RE: windows 10 - elrod jenkins - 2024-01-01 Update, I switched over to T-Mobile gateway, performed reverse proxy through localexpose, jellyfin stays connected now.. RE: windows 10 - TheDreadPirate - 2024-01-01 FWIW, Plex's infrastructure acts as an external reverse proxy. So they can help deal with some less than ideal network setups. Which is probably why Plex was not problematic for you. |
