having issues with jellyfin , on windows machine with ryzen quad core cpu 16 gigs of ram, jellyfin runs great, but after a while i need to stop the server, and restart it in the system tray, then it works fine for a while, almost like its going to sleep, but ive set the pc to never sleep, plex runs all day with no issue, but i dont want to run plex, jellyfin is what i like much better, i know linux is preferred for stability, any help appreciated..

But what is the actual behavior that prompts you to restart Jellyfin? When you are experiencing problems next time, capture what task manager looks like.
    Jellyfin 10.10.7 (Docker)
    Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS w/HWE
    Intel i3 12100
    Intel Arc A380
    OS drive - SK Hynix P41 1TB
    Storage

it refuses connections, i dont restart jellyfin, just stop server in the tray and start server, then it will connect for a while, until it refuses again..

Can you share your log and give us an approximate time this last happened?

Also, double check that jellyfin has a rule in Windows Firewall.

does it matter what browser jelllyfin is using?  I have brave and firefox... also, im using verizon 5g home internet for internet, plex works fine, but jellyfin stops about every 30 min, and have to restart server, although the tray says its still running. thanks for the help.

Is it transcoding and running out of disk space?

We still need to see a log to try to find what the root of the problem is.

Either attach the log or use something like pastebin or sourcebin. The forum doesn't support enough characters to just dump it in a post.
