We should troubleshoot that issue more before opening an issue.

I didn't notice that had tried the Jellyfin Mobile App, you said "Jellyfin Remote app". Did you download the official app?

I meant "Jellyfin Mobile App", which is the official one you linked to.  Sorry for the sloppy wording in my initial post.

Well, I have no explanation for this, but upon trying to connect again this morning, it is now working. I'm sure I had tried it with exactly the same URL 20-30 times across 3-4 days previously. I'm racking my brains to find anything that I might have changed (in my Jellyfin server or in Nginx) but I don't think I have. The only difference this time was that I was running a 'tail -f' on my Nginx access log file when I connected, but it doesn't seem possible that has any effect.
