NVENC Transcode Error - sevenhree - 2025-02-08
I am running Jellyfin on Unraid, and have followed everything on this guide: https://forum.jellyfin.org/t-gpu-transcoding-on-unraid. Now whether I use NVENC or disable it and use CPU, I get this message
Playback Error
Playback failed due to a fatal player error.
I looked at my log and it shows this error:
[13:22:46] [ERR] [31] MediaBrowser.MediaEncoding.Transcoding.TranscodeManager: FFmpeg exited with code 255
[13:22:46] [ERR] [31] Jellyfin.Api.Middleware.ExceptionMiddleware: Error processing request. URL GET /videos/4a8a2700-3f2a-bb2c-fe57-e5669648abae/hls1/main/-1.mp4
Jellyfin was playing fine before I tried to enable NVENC. Any help would be appreciated.
