French Subtitles - Noah Franks - 2025-04-19 Hey, I'm a little confused here because I notice other people online not having this issue though perhaps I didn't search thoroughly enough. Could someone point me in the right direction as to why my Jellyfin is showing me "Fre" for French instead of just saying French? (screenshot related) null I am using the latest version of Jellyfin as of a few days ago (10.10.7) and this subtitling issue happens for all media, not just this one. If you need any more information, just let me know. If this issue has been solved before and I'm just unaware, could you show me the thread related to that? (I did search, but like I said before, not very thoroughly). Thank you, - Noah RE: French Subtitles - TheDreadPirate - 2025-04-19 For external subtitles, the language code needs to be the ISO 639-1 T code. For French that is "fra". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ISO_639_language_codes |
