Jellyfin not connecting, mi stick - Madwish - 2023-11-29
everything worked perfectly until i updated to newest version
when i open jellyfin(android tv, mi stick) it is not connecting. It will only connect after i run localhost:8096 from server itself.
if i log in from different pc through ip address it works fine, but still wont work on mi stick

Try clearing the app cache on the Mi stick.

didn't help sadly. Also reinstalled it just in case, nothing changed

Your mi stick it is not connecting - what the message you have on the screen?
Usually after upgrade to new server version you need to reconnect Jellyfin Android Cient to Jellyfin server.

wording maybe a bit different depending on where i get it. I had to reconnect anyway, as i deleted the app, but when i tried to reconnect it didn't work, had to log in from server browser first. So i don't think that reconnect is going to help, will check again later

ok forget about your stick. Can you check connection to Jellyfin server via any PC (IP_Jellyfin_server:8096)? Does it work?

rebooted mi stick and it works fine mostly, sometimes i still can't connect but restarting app or rebooting as last resort helps
idk why it took me so long to try it
