One particular show will not show up in library - volcs0 - 2023-12-17
This is an odd one.
I have several thousand shows, and one show will not show up in my library, no matter what I try.
(I don't think it's important, but the show is "Reacher")
My folder structure is:
Reacher (2022)
- Season 01
- Reacher - S01E01 - Welcome to Margrave.mkv
- etc.
- Season 02
I've rescanned for changed and new shows several times.
I have not used the option that re-writes all metadata.
I made sure the folder and files have the correct owner, group, and permissions.
I tried deleting and re-creating the folder (scanning the library in between).
I used Filebot to re-write all the metadata.
I can see in the Jellyfin logs that Jellyscrub is analyzing and writing the trickplay files.
The show does not show up in the library, metadata view, or via search.
Platform:
unRAID 6.12.4
Jellyfin: 10.8.13

Do you happen to have a .ignore file in the directory? No ACLs on the directories?

No .ignore and no ACL that I'm aware of.
I'm not sure how to check. getfacl is not available as a command in the Docker, but I'd be surprised, since I've never set any ACLs (I don't even know how).
Can you share your log with us?

Ok. I'm not sure what is going on with the info you provided. I don't see any activity related to this show in your log, except you (I'm assuming) using the search function to find it.
Can you show me the full folder and file names for this show? And the permissions?
