Television Subtitles - toazt_ - 2023-08-17
Hello!
Apologies if this is elsewhere, but I couldn't find anything in the search.
I'm trying to find a way to automatically download and apply subtitles to the television series in Jellyfin. I do have the opensubtitles plug in.
I'm not the brightest in IT, but I'm struggling with subtitles in general. I've been manually downloading them and applying them to movies, but TV seems much too time consuming.
Any direction would help!

We do generally not help to setup anything directly Torrent related like radarr.

Oh, I'll remove them from the post. I specifically would like to use plug ins if possible. I haven't been able to get opensub to work with TV files, am I doing something wrong?

TV files? you mean series? what exactly does not work? does the plugin work with movies? did you follow the setup instructions?

Apologies for not being more specific.
Yes on TV series. Episodes don't find/load subtitles. I can add them manually, but it seems opensubtitles doesn't find anything for Television Series. The plug in does work with movies, and yes on set up instructions.
At this time I can go episode by episode to add subtitles manually, but the plugin is not finding them and applying them automatically.
I do have missing subtitles added under Scheduled Tasks as well.

Did you check if opensubtitles even has subtitles for your selected language and series?

Yes. It does have the subtitles and language.

Could you upload your latest logfile to an external provider like pastebin please?
You might want to omit personal infos like Domains/Ips/Usernames

I apologize greatly for this headache, But I can't seem to find it.
this is where Jellyfin says it is: C:\ProgramData\Jellyfin\Server\log
but, I don't actually have that file in the folder.

No worries,
When you open Jellyfins Dashboard there is a Tab Logs just click on the latest one and it will download it.
