Jellyfin container not starting after disk space issue - Autrui - 2024-08-09

Hi,

I've been using a Jellyfin docker container on my Openmediavault for a while, but I had an issue with my disk space that was fully filled, and after freeing space, jellyfin doesn't work anymore.

Here is my docker compose file:

Code:
---
# https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/jellyfin
services:
  jellyfin:
    image: lscr.io/linuxserver/jellyfin:latest
    container_name: jellyfin
    environment:
      - PUID=1001
      - PGID=100

    volumes:
      - ${DOCKER_CONFIG}/jellyfin/config:/config
      - ${DATA}/media/tv:/data/tvshows # SKIP_BACKUP
      - ${DATA}/media/movies:/data/movies # SKIP_BACKUP
      - ${DATA}/media/emp:/data/emp # SKIP_BACKUP
      - ${DATA}/media:/data # SKIP_BACKUP
      - ${DOCKER_CONFIG}/jellyfin/config/custom_scripts:/custom-cont-init.d:ro
    ports:
      - 8096:8096
      - 8920:8920 #optional
      - 7359:7359/udp #optional
      - 1900:1900/udp #optional
    restart: always

Main: Jellyfin version: 10.9.7

Here are the logs :

Can anyone help me fix this issue ? Thanks !

If you let Jellyfin's database run out of space, there is very little to nothing you can do about it.

Running out of space is a death sentence for databases.

Your only options are to restore from a backup, or restart with a fresh server.

You could try deleting the migrations.xml file located in /config in the container. But it is quite possible that your DB is not recoverable.
