Mass identify movies and shows - troothdotcom - 2024-09-29 I recently upgraded my Jelyfin server and now I am having to identify most of my movies and shows and with 14TB of media that is a lot of manual work since I am doing it via IMDB codes. I was wondering if there is a way to do this automatically? I am running ubuntu server os and installed Jellyfin via docker. Thanks in advance. RE: Mass identify movies and shows - TheDreadPirate - 2024-09-29 As long as you've named things properly, it should auto identify on the first try. With some exceptions for short or common show/movie names. For those, you can put the TMDBID in the folder name. "WALL·E [tmdbid-10681]" RE: Mass identify movies and shows - troothdotcom - 2024-09-30 Thanks this seems like as much work as just identifying them on Jellyfin. Thanks. I wanted to automate it. RE: Mass identify movies and shows - theguymadmax - 2024-09-30 I would recommend using an external program such as tinyMediaManager to organize and identify your media. |
