Update Issue - Frigate - 2024-10-08

Hi everyone.
My Jellyfin app on Roku smart TV upgraded automatically to a brand new version today. I don't know what version because I can't find it anywhere in the app.
Now I can't watch certain videos. It starts and then immediately returns to the menu. These are the exact same videos I was watching last night (prior to update) with no issues whatsoever.
Can anybody point me in the right direction to solve this issue?

Quick update. I have found the version munber. It is 2.1.6

Same issue here as well. 2.1.6 on Roku. Server Windows 10.9.9

Can you post your jellyfin server logs via pastebin?

When I get home I will power on my Roku and try to replicate the issue, if the issue is with the client and not something else..

Same issue here. Videos will only direct play on rokus since the 2.1.6 update. Transcoding works fine for android app and web browser but causes an error on all 3 rokus in my home that worked fine yesterday.

Read my prior post. It is a known issue. A fix has been merged that is scheduled for release on Thursday.
