Naming Issues with Correct Naming Structure - Mfulto - 2024-11-19 I'm pretty new to Jellyfin and have been loving it so far, but I've run into some issues with series metadata and naming. I used Sonarr to rename the episodes to the correct format: (seris name) S01E02 (episode name), but I'm having touble with it populating for most of my series. For south park I get random episodes that got their name changed to a soccer/football series, and for yugioh all my episode titles are encoded by darkdream - which I can't find anything by darkdream in the file's properties. Does anyone have some advice on how to fix this? I would love to find out where I'm going wrong Here are some photos of the file names and and such: RE: Naming Issues with Correct Naming Structure - Fate - 2024-11-19 Have you set the library type to Series? Which metadata provider are you using? Any nfo files in the folder? Did you try rescan that libary and select replace all metadata? RE: Naming Issues with Correct Naming Structure - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-19 Did you check one or both of these two boxes in the library settings? And which folder is the library "root"? The entire D drive? Or D:\TV Shows\? RE: Naming Issues with Correct Naming Structure - Mfulto - 2024-11-19 Hey, Thanks for the replies to answer your questions I'll list the q's and the a's below Q: Have you set the library type to Series? A: Yes I have set it to series Q: Which metadata provider are you using? A: I've used the default The Movie Database for it Q: ny nfo files in the folder? A: I just did a file scan and I have 41 .nfo files in my TV show folder in my d drive, Q: Did you try rescan that library and select replace all metadata? A: Yes I did, and it didn't fix the problem unfortunately Q: Did you check one or both of these two boxes in the library settings? A: i did check both of those boxes, I re setup it, it fixed some of them, specifically the yugioh encoded by darkdream, but some of the South Park episodes are still showing the Chelsea football documentary. Q: which folder is the library "root"? The entire D drive? Or D:\TV Shows\? A: D:\TV Shows\ is the root Now that I've done this all my shows titles are coming out as (series name) S01E02 (episode name) and populating that way, it's not a big deal, but it's not as clean as I'd like, but at least the episodes are getting listed in the correct order now! Thanks so far, but I'd like to know if I can improve the south park naming. RE: Naming Issues with Correct Naming Structure - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-19 The two boxes I mentioned should be UNchecked. Once you've done that, move your shows out of the TV Shows folder, scan to remove them from the database, move them back to the TV Shows folder, rescan to add them back. |
