Ipad say Could not connect to the server - JELLYDAC - 2024-12-30 Hi everybody, I installed the jellyfin server on my nas and it works both on the web and on android devices. However, if I launch it from ios on ipad, the message is "Could not connect to the server" I gave all the permissions to the app. Any suggestions? Thanks RE: Ipad say Could not connect to the server - TheDreadPirate - 2024-12-30 What app are you using on your iPad? Jellyfin Mobile or Swiftfin? And what server version are you running? RE: Ipad say Could not connect to the server - JELLYDAC - 2024-12-30 The app on my Ipad is jellyfin mobile v 1.5.0 The server version is the 10.10.3 RE: Ipad say Could not connect to the server - TheDreadPirate - 2024-12-31 When did your iPad update to iPadOS 18.2? RE: Ipad say Could not connect to the server - TheDreadPirate - 2024-12-31 Also, you're putting "http://" before the IP and ":8096" after? RE: Ipad say Could not connect to the server - JELLYDAC - 2025-01-01 Yes, my iPad is updated to 18.2 and I write http://192.168.178.150:8096 It works on tv, smartphone android and PC but not on the iPad. RE: Ipad say Could not connect to the server - gnattu - 2025-01-01 If you type that URL in the Safari address bar does that work? RE: Ipad say Could not connect to the server - JELLYDAC - 2025-01-01 yes it's work perfectly with that address RE: Ipad say Could not connect to the server - JELLYDAC - 2025-01-01 For all those who have the same problem as me, I found an alternative by installing the Swiftfin iOS app. I would still like to understand, why Jellyfin mobile, despite having the same settings and permissions, does not work. |
