Thanks for the good news!!
Sadly it doesn't work for me. I have the error on the Iphone : " This media may be damaged. - The AVplayerItem instance has failed with the error code -11829 and domain "AVfoundationErrorDomain"". The size of the file on the device (Iphone 16) is 25 octets...
I tried with 4 different video and stil the same error.

Edit : I made a fresh install on the iphone and everthing's ok.

Nice feature!! It's even includes the various audio and subtitles tracks.

I am so looking forward to being able to control download quality.

Being able to download small files before boarding an airplane etc., like it's possible with Netflix, is going to be absolutely fantastic!

I've been having an issue with a user usiong the iOS app having stuttered playback on media that requires transdoding (which seems to alarmingly be a lot). Last night it was Meet hte Fockers, which is a VC-1 blu-ray MKV rip with Atmos audio. Seems all 3 of those aspects requires some sort of transcoding and while JF appears to be running way ahead on the transcode the playback was very stutterd. The user was outside my network as well, but I've not had issues myself that could be slow network speed. Trying to figure out a possible issue/solution to at least reduce any stutters. Running a test now after changing my hardware transcoding settings but still had 3 hang-ups that took a bit to resolve and continue playing. This would be on the previous iOS app version though.

I have upgraded to this version through the App Store.  I'm running iOS 26.0.1.  Playback is fine for my general media files except I have an HDHomerun attached and the audio is now 1-2 seconds ahead of video when viewing Live TV broadcasts or recordings.  This didn't happen in the previous version.  Don't have this issue when viewing over FireTV or on Android tablet.  

I just tried Streamyfin and it doesn't have this issue when viewing Live TV - so it's something that was introduced in the last code update.

Anyone have any workarounds with native app??   I do like it's interface better than Streamyfin.

One of my users is having tons of lag issues for media that requires transcoding. Not sure why as from my end playback seems to be working ok. I have hardware transcode anabled and lots of space for the temp files. unsure what may be the issue though. Their wifi signal is strong. They do connect their iphone to a TV through HDMI though. Any ideas how to resolve this?
