Hi all.  I have used Jellyfin prior with uncompressed codecs.  In fact it is the very reason I started using it as Plex will not handle those as far as pass through.  And that is also the entire reason I use a Firecube because it too can pass those through.  Most other devices will not except for a shield.

My setup is simply Jellyfin on a Firecube, connected to a Yamaha Receiver, connected to a TV.  Normally works great for 4K HDR + TrueHD sound.  But for some time, when I play a title with TrueHD it plays but I get 1 frame about every 3 seconds.  The sound I think is stuttering with it.  If I swap that same title to say 5.1 it works fine.

This is not being transcoded.  In fact if it is it works fine.  Reason I say that is my Firestick was doing the same thing.  But its just a stereo TV no receiver so it should transcode it but it was not and it had the same stutter.  Soon as I forced a transcode it was ok.

DTS-HD seems to be fine as well, I think its just TrueHD.

    My server is Windows 11
I have tried 10.10.7 and 10.11.x, they behave the same
Plex plays these files fine but its not a comparison its transcoding the sound
I have tried this on several 4K titles

    Thank ytou
