    Hi

I did an update today ("sudo apt update"), but jellyfin didn't return when I restarted the server.  I've looked at the log and googled to see if it was something that I could fix, to no success.  So I'm hoping someone here can point to something that I can do.  Current Jellyfin running on directly Debian Bookworm.

    Thanks

    Rob

    Same for me.
    I use Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS (GNU/Linux 6.8.0-85-generic x86_64)
I also tried purging and reinstalling (sudo apt install jellyfin) but it always gets error for dependency issue.

Plugins have been causing some problems, the TVDB one stopped my server from starting.

You can delete/ move the folders in /var/lib/jellyfin/plugins and try starting the server.

Regarding dependencies, check that you have the correct suite in /etc/apt/sources.list/jellyfin.sources
