Upgrading my docker instance to the latest Jellyfin version (10.11.0) went smooth. However, the upgrade emptied all my collections. This is not the first upgrade that does this.

Just wanted to throw it out there. Maybe someone has a solution or I'll just have to re-add them all? Would be nice if we from now on can leave the collections as is, since a lot of work goes into populating them.

Cheers and thanks for a nice upgrade!

Shouldn't copying your collections  folder from the data folder in your backup to the live data folder and running a scan on the collections library should bring them back. The real question is why is it doing this. I've never experienced this issue.

Yes, you're right. And while examining my backup they're gone in there as well. So I was wrong, it wasn't the upgrade's fault. Something must have cleaned out my collections before I took the backup. I just don't have any idea as to what.

Hi. A little off topic, but how can you recreate the collections library (or a particular collection) after an accidental delete? I accidentally deleted the entire collection library, I don't mind to recreate it from scratch, but it just doesn't appear even after a full scan of the movies library. The only way to get it back is to manually add a movie to a new collection (that way the collections library shows up again), but after that no new collections are created. For example, I added a new trilogy to my movies library after doing the above, scanned the entire movie library, and the trilogy is not added to collections. I have to manually create every collection now.

    Thanks.
