Hey everyone,
I’m running Jellyfin 10.11.0 on Ubuntu 24.04 and ever since uninstalling the plugins
Media Bar and Modular Home Sections, my Collections feature has completely broken:
What I already tried:
Could uninstalling Media Bar or Modular Home Sections have removed or corrupted the home layout registration for Collections?
How can I safely re-register or rebuild the Collections menu and home view without losing my collection data?
Thanks a lot in advance 🙏
I’m running Jellyfin 10.11.0 on Ubuntu 24.04 and ever since uninstalling the plugins
Media Bar and Modular Home Sections, my Collections feature has completely broken:
- All existing Collections (BoxSets) disappeared.
- The “Collections” menu item itself is missing from the home page.
- Collections still appear under the Movies library if I enable “Group movies into collections” in the display settings.
- Newly created collections appear temporarily, but vanish again after leaving the page.
- In other words: the collection data exists, but the UI seems to have lost the “Collections” view registration.
What I already tried:
- Cleared all cache and metadata folders
- Checked file permissions
- Reinstalled and then uninstalled the two plugins again
