    Search results UI

Is there any way to display search results differently?

Whenever I do a search. e.g. for 'F1', I get a bunch of things that match. Great! The problem is I see all the broadcasts on SD and HD and all the delayed broadcasts as well. Most of these share the same name and because the text in the UI is severely truncated it's often the case that the differentiating part of the name is beyond the visible space allocated for it. My main point of frustration is that there is no way of knowing which is HD without clicking into the specific programme details. And when it's the wrong one the exit takes you back to the start of the search which means you have to scroll (horizontally!) to where you were before and struggle to find where it was that you last checked.

So, is there a way to display the channel that the EPG entry is associated with in the search results without clicking into the programme details?
Alternatively is there a way to only show HD results?
Also, is there way to show the results as a list instead of the horizontal scrolling carousel that we have at the moment. This is a neat UI component but wholly inappropriate for this purpose where the response could be a long list of items, each with longer names than the space allows for.
In addition, could the exit from the details return you to where you were in the list rather than the start?

If anyone has any thoughts or suggests about this then I'd love to hear them. Thanks.
