Hi all,
So my setup is Samsung S90D with Samsung Q800B soundbar connected to HDMI eARC and Nvidia Shield Pro that I just bought, connected to HDMI on the TV. I have Qsymphony turned on (changed it to only play on soundbar as well, but didn't change nothing), audio set to passthrough in the TV settings.
However if I try to play a movie in Jellyfin Android TV app that has Dolby TrueHD Atmos, I only get Dolby Digital Plus (I get that even with no app running, just with being in the menus) when I press the info button on my soundbar remote. When I login to my server and check the info on playback it says that video is Direct Play (4K HDR) but audio needs to be transcoded because device doesn't support the format. From my understanding and the reason I bought Nvidia Shield Pro is that it's basically the only device that can play that format.
Are there any other settings that I'm missing that I must set in order to get it to work?
