Hello,
I am having a conundrum with my audio on Roku client on regular TV. Most of my stuff is 5.1 audio but I understand it is better just to use 2 channels (stereo) for better sound when not using the 5 speaker set-up.
I find the Roku client does not seem to downmix by default without setting the number of audio channels to 2 in settings, so I started doing that. Does anyone else do this? Is 5.1 through regular speakers still better? When I run 5.1 audio, JF does not say it is transcoding the audio to 2 channels unless I have this setting enabled. I think the voices are a bit clearer for dialogue when downmixing to 2 but I am interested in what other people do.

I complain about Jellyfin a lot and have no idea what I'm doing.
