    Hi!
When metadata is edited from Jellyfin's web UI, is there an option I can set to allow Jellyfin to store the updated metadata alongside the media file (in this case, books) instead of some internal cache that I cannot access?

I'm mainly talking about images / authors data. It would be really nice if Jellyfin could dump the new data right next to the media file in a spec compliant manner.

When you go to the library options for that specific library (where you designate what folders to watch), you can choose to have the metadata stored in a companion file (.nfo). Further down in the settings, you can select an option to store the .nfo files with the media. This keeps them in separate files but in the same location.

    Hi!
I don't see this option. Is this not available for the Books library?
