I placed the folder.jpg in various places. but it doesn't work.
In this image, where should I put the artist image?

Talked with one of the devs.  If you want to use a local image for the Arist, you need to put an image called folder.jpg (or whatever extension) in the artist folder, not the album folder.  From your post its sounds like you tried a folder.jpg in the album folders only.

Sad that they are using "folder" and not "artist". Everything else I use to serve music uses the latter.
