I am a new Jellyfin user. I'm having trouble with the Roku Jellyfin client.
For my DJI drone videos, the client crashes immediately when I hit play.  I go directly to the Roku home page
This happens on the 4K files and the files I converted to HD

    Other videos are fine.
Other clients - tablet, iphone, web are fine
The Roku and the Jellyfin server are both on a wired network
A surprising observation: The native Roku DLNA client has no trouble playing them.  And it is the Jellyfin Server serving the file over DLNA

I'm not seeing anything in the server logs, but I may not know what to look for.

    Any suggestions welcome Smiling-face

Which Jellyfin-Roku version? 2.0.2? And what Roku OS are you running? Needs to be Roku OS 12+. I had to manually update my Roku twice to get it to 12.

We'll need a sample file to help debug. Do any of these demo files have the same issue? https://4kmedia.org/
    🤘 Enjoy

I appreciate the help you're giving me

But is there another source for sample videos?
    At 4kmedia.org I am getting

If the file you are trying to access is particularly large or is shared with many people, it may take up to 24 hours to be able to view or download the file. opinion

it would be better if you provided a sample, can you put your drone into a closet or something and just record a blank wall?
it probably has to do with 4K video encoded with h264/AVC or the level/profile used which is only coming from your drone

I'll look for an innocuous short video or make one.
What's the best way to get the file to you guys?  Attach it to a reply?
